Markets, donuts, and a surf club day out on the Sunshine Coast

After yet another big day yesterday, it was another early start, as we were off to the world-famous Eumundi markets!

In hindsight, I’m realising that we were actually pretty cruel in making our friends get up early almost every day. Then again, last time Kim and I travelled together, we were non-stop, so this holiday felt like a bit of a slow crawl for us. But I think we were wearing out the others, which became pretty clear when J sighed and said:

“Do we have to do something special every day?”

Sorry mate.

Breakfast at Eumundi Markets

The Eumundi Markets are Australia’s biggest art and craft markets, with so many incredible handmade goods on offer. There are loads of food stalls too, with coffee, homemade ginger beer, and lemonade (in the true style, for all my American friends, not Sprite, but still has nothing on Toomers).…

I’m currently writing this on my couch, on my iPad, typing away on my cool foldable keyboard. With a glass of wine within reach too, of course.

(Update: When I tried posting this it wouldn’t upload the images, so I’m now posting this from my laptop on Saturday morning. Kinda spoils my section later about enjoying posting from the iPad – not if it doesn’t work!)

Clothes decluttering

Inspired by my efforts to develop a capsule wardrobe, but mostly inspired by Nicole’s fashionable blog post, I decluttered my t-shirt drawer this morning.

Since my weight loss, I’ve been slowly getting better at donating the clothes I don’t fit anymore. But my tees have been a different story. I love an oversized shirt, or comfy worn out singlets that I wear under hoodies.…
