A Weekend That Actually Did the Job
After writing a post on Saturday about my anxiety crash, I’m happy to report that the Anzac Day long weekend refilled my cup in a major way.
Being a public holiday, it meant most things were closed for the day. My son played at a friend’s house up the street, and I’m so grateful to our neighbours, because it meant I could potter around and do whatever I felt like. No responsibilities, no one calling my name…just…whatever.
- I did so much reading that I finished my latest book – House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J Maas (no. 2 in the Crescent City series, not an affiliate link btw). I’ll do a proper review when I do my monthly reading round-up, but let me just say, I was glad I didn’t have to put it down for long.
